Well, I’m sad to say that we’ve now come to the end of our seven part Creative Composition series, but the tips we looked at are not intended to be exhaustive or compulsory - maybe you have some of your own compositional fail-safes that you’d like to share with us.
Also remember that sometimes deliberately breaking a compositional “rule” gets you the best image. So don’t feel that these constrict you in any way, but hopefully give you new inspiration to try out new ways of looking at the world around you and have some fun at the same time.
For those who missed some or all of the tips we went through, I’ve included a summary of the posts below:
In the meantime, I’d like to open up this tip slot to you - is there something about your camera that confuses you, does photography jargon just make you switch off and you want a concept explained in plain english? Let me know what it is, and I’ll do my best to write a post around that topic.
As always, the comments are open for you to request a topic, share some of your own tips, as well as any examples of images you took with the help of this series. Thank you for reading.
